Along the Delaware

Anyone from New Jersey knows how beautiful the Delaware Water Gap is, but there are spots you may not have seen. There is a 35-mile stretch of road around the Water Gap that offers breathtaking scenery. If you start at Old Mine Road in Montague, the higher elevations will give you a whole different view of the scenery.

Atlantic City

It may seem cliché, but we were surprised to learn how many native New Jerseyians have never been to Atlantic City. Try driving in at nighttime; the Atlantic City Expressway lit up at night is beautiful.

Seaside Heights

Known now as the set of the infamous TV series The Jersey Shore, Seaside Heights isn’t just about gym, tan and laundry. Featuring a beautiful family-friendly boardwalk, this oceanside town is a great place to spend a few days with friends and family.

Princeton to Trenton on Route 206

If you’re a history lover, take a drive down Route 206 starting at Princeton. You could visit many different historic spots along the way like the Governor’s Mansion in Princeton, Princeton Battlefield and The Old Barracks Museum, just to name a few.

Hotel Macomber, Cape May

Love ghost stories? No road trip would be complete without a spooky old hotel. Located in the charming little seaside town of Cape May, the Hotel Macomber is rumored to have many permanent ghostly residents. Word is you can hear dragging sounds through the halls at night as a former guest from hundreds of years ago pulls their trunk from room to room.
